Great long letter from Sarah _____. She sounds like such a nice person. I feel bad I have not written everyone thanks – my stack of "write to" mail has gotten way to large now.
You have been asking what I want to do in the future. My three to ten year plan – dreaming – would be to develop an urgent/acute care clinic with a small family practice clinic. Attached store front would be a boutique health spa, acupuncture, massage, anti-aging and vitamin center.
It has been a busy – well eventful week
Friday afternoon I was moved to a new work detail – to work in the religious media center. Duties also include Thursday and Friday evening, Saturday and Sundays.
Indoor recreation is another story. _____ has been leading a great workout routine for me and a group of guys. He has done this often for others. I think I have been his most regular guy right now. Last night we had six of us trying to hang with his fifty minute workout. None of us can do it all yet. He has a leg/ab workout one night – lunges until we can't walk. Following the planks, medical ball planks, leg raises etc. then next night will be arms/abs. Pushups, medical ball, arm lifts – crushes us all. I've never had core workouts like this. His workouts are the envy of Many guards and the civilian "recreation director" lady. Much like the push up clinic that lots of inmates in the pod participate in – it is such a positive, healthy motivating activity.

I've drawn a picture of our sink/toilet combo. Enjoy. |

Today starts another four day weekend. Today's lunch was ok – the civilian supervisor was in today watching over the meal. Sure is higher quality when she is there.
Last night at outdoor rec I was able to hear the Rusty Humphries Show. J.D. Hayworth was guest host. He said SCOTUS was to take up the Hollister case for conference and quoted much of John Hemenway's statements about the case.
I am getting more from Mark Levin's "Liberty and Tyranny." It gives great examples on the statists' ability to redefine law into suiting their ideology when it benefits their goals. Yet they do not see it as infringing upon their liberty or property because they are the intellectuals that know what is best. Levin's quote of French philosopher Frédéric Bastiat (1850) is great! "When [the law] has exceeded its proper functions, it has not done so merely in some inconsequential and debatable matters. The law has gone further than this; it has acted in direct opposition to its own purpose. The law has been used to destroy its own objective: it has been applied to annihilating the justice that it was supposed to maintain; to limiting and destroying rights which its real purpose was to respect. The law was placed the collective force at the disposal of the unscrupulous who wish, without risk, to exploit the person, liberty, and property of others. It has converted plunder into a right, in order to protect plunder, and it punish lawful defense." Pretty good quote.
On page 53 he says, "The conservative may ask the following questions: if words and other meanings can be manipulated or ignored to advance the statist's political and policy preferences, what then binds allegiances to the statists' words? Why should today's law bind future generations if yesterday's law does not bind this generation? Why should judicial precedent bind the nation if the Constitution itself does not? Why should any judicial determination based on judges notion of what is 'right' or 'just' bind the individual of the individual believes the notion is wrong and unjust? Does not lawlessness beget lawlessness?" Plain, great quotes.
